SGAR Committees
Each of the Southern Gateway Association of REALTOR® Committees play a vital role in their own way. If you're interested in any of the following committees, click on the links below or contact the Association office.
Affiliate Commitee
Affiliate members share the common goal of creating and maintaining long-term, successful business partnerships. The role of this Committee is to develop ways to promote Affiliate business, including the planning of the annual Affiliate Event, and to work closely with the REALTOR® members at various functions to reach this goal. This committee is open to all Affiliate members. This committee may meet monthly and as determined by the committee chair or Board president.
Awards Commitee
The Awards Committee reviews the applications for SGAR Awards.
Diversity Awareness Committee
The purpose of the Diversity Awareness Committee is to identify and address diversity-related concerns and needs of members, coordinate or assist in the development of activities to increase diversity awareness within the real estate profession, and promote changes in real estate business practices to reflect developing cultural diversity.
Education Committee
Evaluates, plans, and promotes quality educational courses that the Association can provide to meet the needs of members, including continuing education courses for license renewal.
Membership Committee
Our organization always appreciates the generosity and involvement of people like you, with every contribution going towards making Southern Gateway Association of REALTORS an even better Non-Profit Organization than it already is. Public Relations (PR) Committee
The role of the PR Committee is to represent all Members of Southern Gateway Association of REALTORS® to enhance the reputation and professional image of its members and SGAR.
The PR Committee works to promote the programs and events of SGAR and to connect our members with our community.
REALTOR Political Action Committee (RPAC)
The purpose of the RPAC Committee is to secure contributions to supply necessary funds to promote and protect the real estate industry in legislature and congress. This committee meets as determined by the committee chair or Association president.
Ways & Mean Committee
The purpose of the Program/Ways & Means Committee is to plan entertaining and informative membership meetings and generate non-dues funding for designated charities and SGAR. The committee meets every month on the first Wednesday at 9am.
