SGAR Education
At SGAR, there are three different types of Education Opportunities that are provided. These types include MREC approved CORE Classes, MREC Approved Elective Classes, and Breakfast Break Sessions.
The Education Committee strives to provide diverse, informative programs. The instructors are professionals in the courses for which they teach.
New Member Orientation
New Membership Orientation consist of two classes.
Introduction to Ethics is an overview of the National Association of Realtors Code of Ethics Document.
SGAR Membership Orientation reviews the benefits and activities of the local, state and national associations. A representative from MARIS provides some tips and tricks of using MARIS and reviews the benefits that MARIS offers the SGAR members.

Online Continuing Education
Southern Gateway Association of Realtors has established an agreement with The CE Shop to promote online course information to consumers and real estate licensees. Southern Gateway Association of Realtors is not the developer of these courses and is simply providing a referral. Any questions regarding course content or technology should be directed to The CE Shop.

Breakfast Break Sessions
Breakfast Break Sessions are informational classes about industry topics. Topics at the sessions may include items such as insurance, title, and mortgage. Professionals in the fields are brought in to the association to education the members in their prospective fields.
These sessions are NOT for Continuing Education Credit
